As a financier of affordable housing developments, the Lowcountry Housing Trust is not able to provide direct assistance to individuals looking for affordable housing. However, there are places you can look for help: 

  • Visit THE PROVIDERS page for a list of four-county providers of rental housing. 
  • Visit schousingsearch.com to find affordable housing listing throughout the Palmetto State.
  • Call Trident United Way’s 24 hour Hotline - Dial 2-1-1 or (843) 744-HELP or 1-800-922-2283.

An affordable apartment for your family is one in which your monthly rent plus utilities is no more than 30% of your monthly income.
