Sea Island Habitat for Humanity Partner Families are low-income working families in our community. They are required to make a down-payment, contribute 500 hours of “sweat equity” and pay for their home through an interest free, no-profit mortgage. They come from all walks of life and through Sea Island Habitat for Humanity and a forgivable down payment loan from the Lowcountry Housing Trust; families like the Pardiso’s will become first-time homeowners.
