The Lowcountry Housing Trust in partnership with the Charleston Trident Home Builders Association wish to recognize excellence in the field of affordable housing development.  The Lowcountry Housing Trust, a regional non-profit organization dedicated to the provision of affordable housing will present two distinguished awards at the 2008 PRISM Awards.

Who Can Apply?
Affordable Housing Builders – “those who build housing for persons or families earning 80% of the area median income or below” – housing for families whose income is at or below $31,000 to $45,100 depending on household size.

Affordable Housing Builders will be highlighted in two categories:  Best Product Single Family Homes and Best Product Attached Housing.

The PRISM Awards Program was developed in 1988 by the Charleston Trident Home Builders Associations’ Sales and Marketing Council to recognize excellence in the field of sales, marketing, and promotion of new homes.

Over the years, the PRISM program has grown to encompass the growing market segments of the housing industry, such as remodeling, development, and the Associate Membership sector.

Deadline
All entries, including appropriate entry fees (NO ENTRY FEES FOR THIS CATEGORY), must be received at the CTHBA office by 5:00 pm on March 6, 2008. Complete entries should be mailed or delivered between the hours of 8:30am - 5:00pm to:
