Summary

The Ardmore-Sherwood Forest Neighborhood Association, the Homeownership Resource Center and the Lowcountry Housing Trust kicked off the Neighbors Helping Neighbors celebration in honor of National Neighborworks Week on Saturday June 2nd. This kick off event symbolized a variety of upcoming activities and exciting opportunities for neighborhood involvement, community revitalization, and beautification.

Mayor Riley Presents a Proclamation honoring the community and its partners LHT and the HRC for their Neighbors Helping Neighbosr Initiative.

Additional Upcoming community efforts include neighborhood revitalization, Neighborhood Quality of Life Index, minor rehabilitation from M-FUGE volunteers, Charleston Lead Institutie, energy audit and weatherization with the Sustainability Institute and Charleston Human Service.
